Jezeršek Catering, Jezeršek catering is celebrating 35 years of tradition this year. For this occasion they hosted a special culinary event and presented a new location for large-scale events in Ljubljana. They created a unique and surprising experience in an old bus garage.
he experience began with save the dates and innovative invitations, which did not reveal the location, but piqued the guest’s curiosity. The event started in a known location in downtown Ljubljana, from where guests were driven in old buses to the secret location.
“They turned a garage warehouse into a magical event location,” said Miro Hribar, Intours DMC. The history of Jezeršek catering through time was presented in an old tram car, where guests could see company’s development and milestones. The creative concept was based on eight culinary stations and two food trucks, where cooks created different dishes in front of guests and interacted with them. The decoration was planned in detail in order to evoke the best possible atmosphere and guest’s entertainment. A band on a truck to create a party mood; a selfie box, were everybody took selfies while “lying” on the lush grass at a picnic; a barber to take care of the male guests, while the ladies waited at the Jameson bar. The main goals of the campaign were the introduction of a new location for large events, a new industrial set up, and an innovative menu. “Celebrating the 35th anniversary was a great chance to share the success with all the business partners and thank them for support and trust,« concluded Martin Jezeršek, the Managing Director.
