CD Congress Centre in Ljubljana: 4th World Landslide Forum

Landslide research and risk reduction for advancing culture of living with natural hazards will be the main focus at the 4th World Landslide Forum, taking place in Slovenian capital at the CD Congress Centre.

The event is jointly organized by the International Consortium on Landslides (Kyoto, Japan), the International Programme on Landslides (IPL), the University of Ljubljana and the Geological Survey of Slovenia. Scientists, engineers, and researchers/policy makers working in the area of landslide technology, landslide disaster investigation and landslide remediation are encouraged to share their work with the global community by submitting papers and presenting their work at the WLF4. The main challenge is the global promotion of understanding and reducing landslide disaster risk and implementing sustainable development goals by taking into account the sweeping climate change and devastating natural disasters.

CD Congress Centre Ljubljana has since 1980 importantly contributed to Slovenia’s international recognition, charting its progress in the global meetings industry, and thereby also bolstering Slovenia’s scientific potential and renown.
