Introducing Portorož & Piran to business travellers seeking pleasure and inspiration

Almost half of business travellers add leisure activities to their business trip – this is what the surveys show, but also what the hoteliers in Portorož and Piran are observing. The business is merging with other contents offered by the destination.

They also noticed that the business travellers are increasingly looking for new additional values, seeking inspiration, new experiences and new cultural content for their travel. Demanding about the hotel accommodation and the hotel amenities, they expect their hotel room to be their second office as well.

In this, Portorož and Piran suite perfectly to business travellers. Besides the most complete spa offer in Europe and the excellent hotel accommodation, meetings are often held outdoors, in unconventional and suggestive sceneries, such as: the salt pans with their unique outdoor spa Lepa Vida, the arched Cloister of the Franciscan Monastery or the Parish Garden of the Cultural Centre Georgios in Piran, the open air sculpture park Forma Viva in a luxurious green ambience with sea view in Portrož and others.

The organizers notice, that such meetings are always more productive and successful, since the participants acquire new push, inspiration and energy, which adds value to the business meetings.

– Monfort Contemporary Art Space

Between Portorož and Piran, there are two architectural jewels. These are the historic salt warehouses of Magazen, Grando and Monfort, listed as both cultural and historical heritage. Only a few years ago, ships carrying salt were docked at the nearby pier. They were built in the time of Napoleon between 1820 and 1845. Today this is a magnificent venue and exhibition space, which hosts exhibitions and events directly on the sea front.
