On 4 June 2015 Ljubljana was presented to the Italian audience in the exhibition complex Vittoriano located next to the ancient Coliseum in Rome. Tourism Ljubljana presented the cultural and tourist offer of Ljubljana with an emphasis on the Ljubljana Festival, other summer events and the presentation of the Central Slovenian region at EXPO Milano. The presentation was followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Vivo catering. Guests were able to taste Ljubljana dishes served under the taste Ljubljana brand, a project that is bringing back to restaurants traditional dishes of Ljubljana. The experienced chefs of Vivo catering served Flying žganci, roasted potatoes, frog legs, Ljubljana dumplings, Ljubljana cottage cheese pancakes with tarragon and potica. Lunch was topped off by excellent native wines from Slovenian Istria provided by wine cellar Rodica.
