Iconic Ljubljana restaurant Smrekarjev hram will soon re-open its doors following a two-month refurbishment.
Ljubljana Quality Selection award winner in the category “Fine Dining Restaurants” where a top team of chefs is responsible for an ultimate culinary treat entwined with a range of quality wines, will soon get a new look and feel. The rebirth of Smrekarjev hram will perfectly compliment the already diverse culinary offer that Union Hotel’s congress guests can enjoy when staying in Ljubljana. The restaurant closed its doors for renovation on the 17th June and will re-open in the middle of August. Guests of the Grand hotel Union and Grand hotel Union Business as well as visitors of Ljubljana will soon be able to embark on a brand new culinary journey.
On one hand the multiple times awarded Smrekarjev hram will maintain a little bit of the art of the famous painter Hinko Smrekar and will stay true to its offer of modern international cuisine spiced up with a Slovene touch. On the other hand the renovation will introduce big novelties. New name and image of the restaurant will be topped by amuzing bistro concept with live cooking.
Jorg Zupan, restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine has just returned from Malmo where he was cooking with the head chef of a three Michelin stars restaurant and will most definitely deliver a mouth-watering culinary experiences.
