The Slovenian Convention Bureau is a body set up in 2004 to promote and market Slovenia as a meeting and incentive travel destination and to attract international meetings business to the country.
This non-profit organisation is a useful source of expert and objective information and advice on destinations, meeting venues and service providers.
The Slovenian Convention Bureau acts as a professional intermediary between meeting planners and suppliers, assisting organisers to select the most appropriate solution for their event.
Members include convention centres and hotels, PCO's and DMC's, the Ljubljana Convention Bureau, Maribor Tourist Board, airline, incentive and other service providers. Slovenian Tourist Board is its strategic partner.
The Slovenian Convention Bureau is the central point of contact for meeting planners seeking objective information and advice on all aspects of organising an event in Slovenia, including:

- event agencies
- technical suppliers
- catering services
Acting as an independent guide and providing a free of charge service
, we will afford you all necessary information, assist in finding the ideal location for your event, connect you with the most suitable partners and forward your request for proposal.
We may supply you with every necessary detail about our country, as well as maps, brochures, DVD's and photographs to enable you to make the choice that suits you best. To conclude your decision-making, we can also co-ordinate an inspection visit.
