At the end January 2023, the Slovenian Convention Bureau conducted the 19th General Meeting and Assembly of the Slovenian Convention Bureau which brought together more than forty Slovenian MICE stakeholders.
The 19th General Meeting and Assembly of the Slovenian Convention Bureau, hosted by the Slovenian Convention Bureau team, took place on Wednesday, 25 January, 2023, at the Bažato Gallery in Ljubljana. The main theme of the event were the communication and the Slovenian Convention Bureau’s activities.
Welcome speeches were given by Fredi Fontanot, Acting Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau, Karmen Novarlič, Head of Business Communication Department at the Slovenian Tourist Board, Matjaž Žnidaršič, the President of the bureau council (2022-2024), and Aleksander Valentin, the President of the Expert bureau council (2021-2023).
As an introduction, an overview of the successes of 2022 was presented, along with this year’s plans of the Slovenian Convention Bureau, followed by an interesting lecture and panel discussion on communication.
An important part of the daily agenda was also the appointment of the new Slovenian Convention Bureau Council member for the 2023-2025 mandate, Gorazd Cad, Toleranca Marketing d.o.o. Soon, the official representatives will receive a notification on the election for the president of the Slovenian Convention Bureau Expert Council.
