25th European H.O.G. Rally in Portorož

Between 16 to 19 June, Portorož was taken over by Harley owners. Over the course of four days the event gathered over 25 thousand friends, enthusiasts and riders of Harley-Davidson bikes. The Port of Roses hosted the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Rally.

The European H.O.G. Rally is the top event in the Harley-Davidson calendar, and over 25 thousand friends, enthusiasts and riders of Harley-Davidson bikes visited Portorož and nearby places over 4 days. The high profile event was a real treat for all visitors. It offered a versatile programme of bike shows, live music, and partying. In the H.O.G. Village, an expo of the newest Harley-Davidson models took place, visitors could see demo drives and the legendary Custom Bike Show. On Saturday, over 3000 Harley-Davidson bikes took part in a spectacular parade during which they could see the beautiful sights of Slovenian Istria. Igor Novel, M.A., director of the Portorož Tourist Board praised the organisation and added: “We’re very proud that Harley-Davidson has chosen us for this magnificent event, which has significantly contributed to the business results of all players in our destination.” Of course, in Portorož they hope to host the event the next year too.
