The 26th Golden Drum Festival will take place on the Slovenian shore in Hotel Slovenija Portorož, 17-18 October 2019. Festival will offer a very diverse, compact and inspiring program under the slogan Creativity 4 Change. Keynote speaker this year will be one of the most published philosophers of the early 21st century Slavoj Žižek. Over two days the Golden Drum stages will welcome around 40 international speakers.
This year`s lineup of speakers form among others, Andrea Henao, Managing Director of 360 Agency Berlin and 360 Agency Europe, the first ever-sustainable advertising agency in the world, promoting exclusively sustainable brands across the globe. Rena Effendi, Azerbaijan award-winning National Geographic photographer, who will tell a story of humanity though her lens. Professor Bogdan Draganski, Lausanne University Hospital and Director, Neuroimaging Lab LREN, Lausanne University in Switzerland, will focus on the existing knowledge aiming to explain creativity from neuro-scientific point of view. Krešimir Macan, a respected Croatian communication and business consultant specialized in crisis management, strategic communication in politics and social media, is going to answer questions like where is the place for public relations in the digitized present and future and why it might be more influential and creative than ever.
The festival will provide also a lively social happening in Piran and Portorož, which will be rounded up with Friday’s award ceremony where the winners of the competition program will be announced.
