On April 26th Adria Airways will start flying to another attractive European destination. The airline will connect Ljubljana Airport with the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, and one of the most populous regions in Germany. With the newly announced service, the airline will enable its passengers to connect with 209 flights a week to a total of 24 destinations.

“It is of great importance for Adria Airways to open this new service, since Dusseldorf is an important economic, financial, and international business center. I am proud that Adria Airways opens this new route and contributes further to Slovene and German business relations”, says Managing Director of Adria Airways, Dr. Arno Schuster.

Passengers will be flying to the German city four times a week. Tickets are already available for purchase.

“Adria Airways is increasing its footprint in the German market. We already fly to Frankfurt and Munich, in March we are adding flights to Hamburg, and in April we will start flying to Dusseldorf. Our aim is to offer people more choices and an even more convenient way of traveling. By expanding its network Adria Airways is further strengthening its position as a strong regional airline that connects Central and South-Eastern Europe via its home base in Ljubljana”, commented Mr. Christian Schneider, Chief Commercial Officer of Adria Airways.

Adria Airways currently flies to 17 destinations, but in summer, effective from the end of March until the end of October, Adria Airways will fly to 24 destinations, adding Bucharest, Hamburg, Sofia, Geneva, Dubrovnik and the island of Brac to its summer offerings, and continuing to fly also in Kiev.
