Hoteli Bernardin celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016. Due to a diverse offer of services and the professionalism, dedication, quality and charm of the Bernardin team, Hoteli Bernardin are today known for hosting major congresses and conventions on the Slovenian coast.
The story of hospitality tradition in business and leisure tourism began in 1976 when two hotels of the present group opened their doors: hotel Bernardin (today known as Hotel Histrion) and hotel Vile Park. A year later hotel Pečina (today the magnificent Grand hotel Bernardin) was built.
Over the past 40 years Hoteli Bernardin have grown immensely. With a prestigious location in Portorož, Izola and Strunjan, their hotels, apartments, a congress centre and various wellness centres with selected treatments for the general well-being, attracted many business and leisure visitors.
Today Hoteli Bernardin provide a complete range of services for those wishing a perfect combination of business and pleasure at the top of the Adriatic Sea. Bernardin Group offers accommodation in 3 categories and apartments, convention centre which houses 19 multi-purpose halls, casino and wellness centres. To celebrate their 40 years of existence, Hoteli Bernardin last year thanked their guests with 40 days of open doors of wellness centers. They opened an exhibition of art works from the collection Bernardin, organized a summer concerts “Step to the Sea” and ended the business year with a special gala event for their partners and employees.
