Students from South East Europe will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the meetings industry and take the next step in their career by attending the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum held on 19 January 2015 at Conventa 2016.
The Future Leaders Forum has been developed to encourage the best and brightest students to develop successful careers in meetings industry. Over 120 forums have taken place globally since 2003 with more than 7,000 students participating in the forums to date. Conventa has been hosting Future Leaders Forum for years. One of last year’s participants said:
“I learned a lot of new things, I met a lot of people I didn’t know before. But the most important thing is that I got the answer: I would like to do that kind of work.”
This year The Future leaders programme will include »The Future Leaders’ Guide to Career Development« that will through different career stories of both young professionals and experienced industry veterans show the students how to get started in the industry and give them useful advice and new ideas for their own career development. Through »Meetings Industry Insights« experienced professionals will reveal all there is to know about MICE industry. The »Creative Challenge« will demand teamwork to sell a destination to a specific client with specific needs. The best team will of course win a great prize. The highlight of the programme will be the »Roundtable session – Meet the Experts« and the speech of the guest speaker that will be known in days to come.
