This autumn, Best Western Premier Hotel Slon had an honor of hosting The International gathering of Geological Surveys of Europe (EuroGeoSurveys) and Geological Survey of Slovenia.
Geological Survey of Slovenia is celebrating 70 years in the service of “social well-being” with a principal purpose to provide public Earth science knowledge to support the EU’s competitiveness, social well-being, environmental management and international commitments. A special guest was Professor Hans Bruyninckx, Executive Director of the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen.
Best Western Premier Hotel Slon as the conference venue played an important role in the success of this meaningful event. The hotel staff impressed the guests with professional organization and amazing culinary creations. During the conference, guests could experience a special finger food menu ‘’Selected flavors of Slon’s tradition’’, created by Siniša Borič, the main chef.
