Green and Active Tourism Will Inspire Again at the Natour Alpe-Adria Fair

After a successful last year’s joint event, the International Natour Alpe-Adria Fair will once again focus on green, active tourism and will be held together with the boutique business exchange Natour. The Natour Alpe-Adria fair that will open its main doors on 1 February 2017, will close the early bird registration at the end of June 2016.

Last year’s merger of NATOUR trade show and Alpe-Adria fair, who has more than 27-year tradition, has proven to be the right decision. In the spirit of providing a united place for lovers of active living visiting the fair as well as for those looking for business attending the trade show, Natour Alpe-Adria fair will continue to develop will bring to Ljubljana, the European Green Capital of 2016, another great show in the beginning of February next year.

The organizers, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, Toleranca marketing and GIZ – Hiking and Biking Association of Slovenia, are already inviting destination representatives, especially those from the Alps-Adriatic region, tourist agencies, for whom organization of active leisure is certainly one of the opportunities, and providers of other services and equipment for active leisure time to register as exhibitors and present their offer in 2017 to a large number of visitors of the fair as well as to discuss business and sit down with potential buyers.

International Natour Alpe-Adria Fair held in 2016 presented more than 300 tourism providers from 12 countries, was visited by 15.000 people and hosted more than 20 hosted buyers from 9 different countries. Great media coverage of the rich accompanying programme, panel discussions on current topics, business meetings, travellers’ lectures, presentations of local societies, press conferences, and cheerful, relaxed atmosphere in exhibiting spaces were the reasons why 80% exhibitors are planning to return in 2017 when the show will be bigger, better and greener than ever!
