The 34th edition will be held at GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre from 29 September to 2 October 2016 and will be organized under the honorary patronage of his Excellency Mr. Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia.
Organizing Committee aims to provide a successive forum for researchers and clinicians from all over the world to exchange ideas and state-of-the-art in the emerging fields of sports medicine.
Sports medicine is developing at a rapid pace, establishing a solid foundation in clinical medicine. Yearly congress – the FIMS will this year gather the multidisciplinary community that forms the heart and soul of sports medicine in Ljubljana. The GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, the leading events centre in Slovenia offering 20 multifunctional halls, was an ideal choice for an event of this size and reputation.
Organized by Turkish Sports Medicine Association (TSMA) and Slovenian Sports Medicine Association (ZMSS), the event will throughout the week host numerous distinguished speakers that will address new developments in clinical and allied sciences, covering a broad range of topics. Participants will be able to attend meetings, courses, presentations and workshops. The Aspetar Young Investigator Awards that encourage scientists to display outstanding presentations of their work will conclude the congress that the team of GR is proud to host.
