Following the first time Mr. Caleb Parker visited Slovenia on a site visit #InsightSlovenia, organized by the Slovenian Convention Bureau last year, he fell in love with it and recognized a big potential for clients in the UK looking for a boutique, green, diverse and authentic destination.
Slovenia and its capital feature a wide selection of activities to satisfy the most demanding guests. The organizers took the experience even further as the guests had the chance to taste Slovenia through its wines and chocolate pairing organized by Intours DMC friend Guillame, a renowned sommelier from Ljubljana, who revealed the guests a few secrets about the Slovenian wines and awoke their interest by giving them an assignment to choose the right chocolate taste with the right wine.
Such events are very well perceived with clients since they offer a hands-on approach and spike interest in the destination. The concept of the event enabled one-on-one conversations and networking with various industry professionals in the MICE industry.
