In March 2019, Slovenia\u2019s capital will be a host to the European Food Summit that will in one place gather the renowned names in the field of culinary, arts and media world. Organised in partnership between the Slovenian Tourist Board and Ljubljana Tourism, the Summit will in four days provide numerous events.<\/p>\n
Slovenia is becoming one of the most interesting and renowned destinations in the world of the supreme culinary and wine experiences. The European Food Summit, which was in the past few years called the Gourmet Cup Ljubljana, has from the most important gastronomic event in Slovenia become also the most important European culinary event and a unique fundament for co-creating the sustainable future of Europe.<\/p>\n
Between the 16th and 19th of March 2019, the Summit\u2019s amazing programme will include inspiring culinary stories: the famous Ljubljana\u2019s gourmet street food festival \u2013 Open Kitchen; Gourmet Ljubljana Crawl taking into cultural landmarks where the leading chefs from Ljubljana will be providing their amazing food; Gourmet on Snow will take to mountain Krvavec where the top Slovenian and foreign chefs will await for the food enthusiasts; I FEEL SLOVENIA Dinner on the Zipline \u2013 an astonishing meal in a gondola lift; and on the last day there will be a professional symposium and an experience dinner.<\/p>\n
The Symposium, titled \u201cFood \u2013 a bridge to the sustainable identity of European cultures and nations\u201d, is prepared in collaboration between the Slovenian Tourist Board, Ana Ro\u0161 (best Female Chef 2016) and Andrea Petrini, the event\u2019s curator renowned for being one of the most important personalities in the world\u2019s gastronomy. The guest at the Symposium will be: Afton Halloran, Roberto Flore, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Andreas Caminada, Christopher Pel\u00e9, Esben Holmboe Bang, Georges Desrues, Ivan Brincat, Jow Warwick, Jordan Khan, Leonor Espinosa, and Ricardo Camanini, to name a few. The highlight of the evening will present the experience dinner provided by Ana Ro\u0161, Riccardo Camanini, and Luka Ko\u0161ir.<\/p>\n
