This summer, Ljubljana’s City Hotel transformed their summer terrace into a lively relaxation zone for guests. The new d\u00e9cor is inspired by Ljubljana. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on open air, organize a reception, have a drink or just take a selfie with the mighty Ljubljana castle in the background. Welcome!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ljubljana, our beautiful capital, is embedded in the identity of City Hotel. City Hotel proudly carries it in their name, and also in the form of beautiful wallpapers, taken by the photographer \u017diga Koritnik, which are part of all of their 200 hotel rooms. City’s hotel keys, menus and lobby area are also adorned with several impressions of the city<\/strong>.

Despite its downtown Ljubljana location, where the urban hustle and bustle rarely settles down, the City Hotel has managed to preserve a spacious green terrace <\/strong>on the 1st floor. They aimed for the terrace to follow an existing trend of embracing Ljubljana<\/strong>; however in recent years, it remained stuck in \u201ctraditional restaurant\u201d frames. This year, they decided it\u2019s time for a small make-over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bbWe wanted to create a characteristic retro vibe and, at the same time, add some special features that would create a truly special atmosphere for our guests.This is how our\u00a0Ljubljana story\u00a0has finally taken over also the City terrace.\u00ab<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main botanical star of the terrace is the white Rose of Ljubljana<\/strong>which was gifted by the Rose Garden in Tivoli and by the looks of its beautiful blossoms, it has adapted to the new environment well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s better than a leisurely breakfast overlooking the mighty Ljubljana castle? Terrace breakfast is a long-standing tradition that delights hotel’s spring, summer and eary autumn guests. The terrace breakfast area is now enriched with additional greenery and motivational thoughts for a successful start of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast, hotel’s guests usually hurry to their meetings or exploring all the beauty Ljubljana and Slovenia have to offer. Now, they can spend the rare free moments before taking off in the new \u00bbrelax corner\u00ab<\/strong>of recently refreshed terrace. For complete relaxation in the embrace of aromatic greenery, they’ve provided comfortable deckchairs with a reading area and an authentic Ljubljana park bench. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main point of interest, especially among the younger crowd, is their\u00a0new \u00bbSelfie point\u00ab.\u00a0<\/strong>It\u2019s an\u00a0iconic Ljubljana city bike by Rog<\/strong>, with the beautiful Ljubljana castle behind it. Take a photo on it and make sure to tag them\u00a0@cityhotelljubljana<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for a chance to be featured on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
