{"id":13107,"date":"2019-12-16T12:11:06","date_gmt":"2019-12-16T11:11:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/?p=13107"},"modified":"2019-12-16T12:21:15","modified_gmt":"2019-12-16T11:21:15","slug":"slovenia-has-reached-2-million-posts-with-the-ifeelslovenia-hashtag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/sl\/slovenia-has-reached-2-million-posts-with-the-ifeelslovenia-hashtag\/","title":{"rendered":"Slovenia has Reached 2 Million Posts with the #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The campaign\u00a0<em>Make new memories in Slovenia and share them with the Slovenian Tourist Board\u00a0<\/em>that called for visitors to share their images and videos of Slovenia and using the hashtag #ifeelsLOVEnia, has reached 2 million shares.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The promotional campaign\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slovenia.info\/en\/make-new-memories-in-slovenia-and-share-them-with-us-ifeelslovenia\"><em>#ifeelsLOVEnia \u2013\u00a0Make new memories in Slovenia and share them with us\u00a0<\/em><\/a><\/strong>that started exactly a year and a half ago, on 6 June 2018, has reached its goal: <strong>2 million shares with #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign launched by the Slovenian Tourist Board, aimed to showcase lesser-known Slovenian destinations and products, encourage visitors to opt for off-the-beaten track destinations and inspire local tourists to spend their free time in their homeland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A&nbsp;cross-platform campaign used the key communication channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and the website&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slovenia.info\/en\">www.slovenia.info<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign, which was launched exactly one year and a half ago, on 6 June 2018, has been a tremendous success: as early as in 2019 the number of shared moments with #ifeelsLOVEnia has reached a million and now, when 2019 is coming to an end, the goal of 2 million shared moments has been reached. The campaign has generated&nbsp;<strong>1.6 million new posts<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; before the launch only 400,000 posts with #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag had been posted. On average, 3,000 posts with #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag have been counted per day. In total, 25,000 visitors to the landing page of the campaign have been spotted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the webpage\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slovenia.info\/en\">www.slovenia.info<\/a><\/strong>, the most attractive posted photos have been highlighted. <strong>Each week, three best photos have been selected and rewarded.<\/strong> In total, 147 awards were distributed. Additionally, landing pages included also a section &#8220;<strong>Hidden corners of Slovenia&#8221;<\/strong>, which covered 59 hints for unforgettable trips\u00a0to less-known places. In total, 34 leading destinations were showcased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign was supported by the Slovenian Convention Bureau, as well as other institutions in our country, Slovenian media, tourism companies and influencers. Additionally, it also <strong>won some rewards<\/strong>: in Slovenia and abroad. Last year, in November, the campaign received\u00a0<strong>Golden\u00a0Sempler\u00a0<\/strong>award, in the frame of\u00a0SEMPL Media Trends Conference, one of the best organised and carefully curated business events in Southeastern Europe, and this year in March at the ITB Berlin, The\u00a0<strong>Golden City Gate<\/strong>\u00a0award.
