In 2020 as many as 34,150 voted for their favourite restaurant.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the pandemic, the wish of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slovenia.info\/en\/things-to-do\/food-and-wine\/where-to-eat\">dining out<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>has become greater than ever. Perhaps this year\u2019s record-breaking number of votes for the Slovenia Restaurants Awards 2020 could therefore be referred to as one of the \u201csweet\u201d consequences of Covid-19, since it proves that Slovenians have also become attentive to Slovenian chefs and appreciate their work more than ever before. In the professional part of the voting for\u00a0<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/category\/gastronomy\/restaurant-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Slovenia Restaurant Awards<\/a><\/strong>  6,520 votes from the gastronomic associations were received, while the voting of the general public resulted in 27,630 votes. A total of 34,150 votes for The Slovenia Restaurant Awards 2020!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the traditional and 4th edition of The Slovenia Restaurant Awards was moved to a virtual platform. The organizer invited three winners in the National TOP 3 category &#8211; Valter Kramar (Hi\u0161a Franko), Uro\u0161 \u0160tefelin (Vila Podvin) and Toma\u017e Kav\u010di\u010d (Dvorec Zemono &#8211; Gostilna pri Lojzetu) to the conversation via the ZOOM for the ceremony.
