Flights to&nbsp;the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flightradar24.com\/data\/airports\/lju\" target=\"_blank\">Ljubljana Airport<\/a>&nbsp;are currently limited, yet flight connections with European biggest hubs are still covered with&nbsp;<strong>daily connecting flights<\/strong>&nbsp;from Frankfurt, Paris, Istanbul, London, Warsaw, and others.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actual flight schedule mostly depends on border limitations and other restrictive measures in particular countries as well as on the recovery of travel demand. These airlines currently offer international flights with stated frequencies:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><strong>Aeroflot<\/strong>\u00a0(three times weekly to<strong>\u00a0Moscow),<\/strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Air France<\/strong>\u00a0(three times weekly to\u00a0<strong>Paris<\/strong>),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Air Serbia\u00a0<\/strong>(five times weekly to\u00a0<strong>Belgrade<\/strong>),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>easyJet<\/strong>\u00a0(twice weekly to\u00a0<strong>London Gatwick<\/strong>)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Lufthansa<\/strong>\u00a0(nine weekly flights to\u00a0<strong>Frankfurt<\/strong>),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>LOT Polish Airlines<\/strong>\u00a0(twice weekly to\u00a0<strong>Warsaw<\/strong>),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Transavia\u00a0<\/strong>(twice weekly to\u00a0<strong>Amsterdam<\/strong>),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Turkish Airlines\u00a0<\/strong>(three times weekly to\u00a0<strong>Istanbul<\/strong>).<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The start of the summer season, which came to the effect on Sunday, March 28, is still marked by a reduced volume of passenger flights due to epidemic conditions, and at the peak of the season, according to current forecasts, 15 airlines will fly to 16 destinations, namely (in addition to above mentioned):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><strong>Montenegro<\/strong>\u00a0to Tivat (expected from June 27),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Brussels Airlines<\/strong>\u00a0to Brussels (expected from June 28),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Wizz Air<\/strong>\u00a0to Brussels-Charleroi (expected from June 28),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>SunExpress\u00a0<\/strong>in Antalya (expected from June 18),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>British Airways<\/strong>\u00a0to London at Heathrow Airport (expected from July 5),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>Swiss International Airlines\u00a0<\/strong>to\u00a0Zurich (expected from July 2),\u00a0<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>easyJet<\/strong>\u00a0to London Luton (expected from July 25),<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>NEW: Iberia<\/strong>\u00a0to Madrid (expected from August 2),\u00a0<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><strong>NEW:\u00a0flydubai<\/strong>\u00a0to Dubai (expected from September 24).<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>According to current plans and improving epidemiological conditions for the revival of holiday tourism, <strong>charter traffic<\/strong>\u00a0will run on a larger scale in the summer than last season. Travel agencies will organize trips from Brnik to the\u00a0<strong>Greek islands<\/strong>, to Antalya in\u00a0<strong>Turkey<\/strong>, to Sharm-El-Sheikh and Hurghada in\u00a0<strong>Egypt<\/strong>, and to\u00a0<strong>Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The low-cost airline <strong>flydubai<\/strong> from the United Arab Emirates will establish a <strong>direct air connection<\/strong> with the Slovenian capital and Dubai <strong>on 24 September 2021<\/strong>. It will be possible to fly from Ljubljana to Dubai <strong>three times a week<\/strong>, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 3:15 pm. Tickets are already available for purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The informational seasonal schedule<\/strong>&nbsp;of flights from Ljubljana Airport, which represents current official announcements of flights from carriers, is available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraport-slovenija.si\/en\/passengers-and-visitors\/flight-info\/timetable\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<br><br>Due to circumstances changes in announcements and flights operations are happening daily, therefore we advise passengers to seek most accurate information about possibilities of flights on airlines&#8217; websites or at point of sales where they bought their tickets. Several safety measures have been introduced at the airport for the safe reception of passengers and the safe work of employees, for which we have also obtained the&nbsp;<strong>AHA certificate&nbsp;<\/strong>(Airport Health Accreditation), issued by&nbsp;<strong>The International Airport Association International Airport<\/strong>&nbsp;(ACI), which confirms that we provide safe conditions for passengers and employees.
