The Slovenian Convention Bureau is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Tadeja Pivc Coudyser as our new Director from the 1st September 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beginning of September 2021 marks a milestone for the Slovenian Convention Bureau<\/a><\/strong> as it’s welcoming a new director: Ms. Tadeja Pivc Coudyser<\/strong>. Miha Kova\u010di\u010d, a long-standing veteran of the Slovenian meetings industry, concluded his mission at the Bureau after 16 years. We heartfully thank Miha for all his achievements over the years and extend a warm welcome to Tadeja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadeja is a well-known face in the international meetings industry<\/strong>, especially after her previous role in the Hague Convention Bureau, where she has been in charge of international sales since 2016. Tadeja’s knowledge and expertise will contribute to the goals of the Slovenian Convention Bureau, as she will strive to attract international meetings to Slovenia. Tadeja\u2019s vision is to further develop competencies and facilitate innovation<\/strong> to ensure Slovenia reaches its full social and economic potential given the right support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadeja and Miha met at the end of August 2021, here is what they discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miha:<\/em><\/strong> First of all, Tadeja, a warm welcome to the Slovenian Convention Bureau and returning to Slovenia after 13 years abroad. It is great to pass on the relay to someone with international knowledge and experience of the meetings and incentive industry and familiar with our product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadeja:<\/em><\/strong> I want to thank you, Miha and the Slovenian MICE partners for the trust and great opportunity that has been given to me to present and promote Slovenia as a meeting and incentive destination across the globe. I am excited to bring my know-how and also learn from the Slovenian industry. I have always been following what Slovenian Convention Bureau is doing from a distance, and I saw some incredible things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadeja:<\/strong> <\/em>Miha, now looking back, what are you the proudest of?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miha:<\/em><\/strong> In the past 16 years, we started many new initiatives and had great successes, so it is hard to point out only one. I think the Conventa trade show is one of those successes. We are running it already for XX years, including this year. It just actually ended last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miha:<\/strong> <\/em>So this is looking back, but now let\u2019s look forward. Why did you decide to come back to Slovenia, and what chances do you see?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadeja:<\/strong> <\/em>It is exciting to be back, I am rediscovering new things, and in 13 years, a lot has changed. I am excited to work for my home country, promoting it in the international waters. I am proud of our little piece of land in Europe, which is so diverse and offers so much. I think many know about the beauty of Slovenia, from mountains, lakes to the sea. Incentive product is strong, so I see an opportunity also to strengthen the business events part, as we have excellent infrastructure.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miha:<\/em><\/strong> Tadeja, I wish you all the success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activities of the Slovenian Convention Bureau will continue to promote the visibility and international presence of Slovenia<\/strong> as a boutique, green, active, healthy, and sustainable destination for the organization of meetings, events and incentive experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
