Cankarjev dom \u2013 CD Cultural and Congress Centre Ljubljana has recently announced a busy congress season 2021\/2022, live and online.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cankarjev dom \u2013 CD Cultural and Congress Centre Ljubljana<\/a>, will in the last few months of 2021 carry out or organise several domestic and international events. Starting in September the Cankarjev dom\u2019s 2021\/2022 season, the international online seminar on the Occupational Exposure to Carcinogens in Hospitals: Protection of Workers<\/a> welcomed thousands of participants online. Seminar was organised by the Ministry of labour, family, social affairs and equal opportunities in the frame of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2021<\/a>. At the seminar, a number of distinguished experts from Slovenia, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Poland, Portugal and Spain presented the latest research and examples of good practice in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cankarjev dom<\/a>\u00a0in September hosted also 24th<\/sup>\u00a0Days of Schrott<\/a>\u00a0or Slovenian Family Medicine Days and the 38th<\/sup>\u00a0Slovenian Medicine Days or\u00a0Der\u010devi Days<\/a>. Between the 13th<\/sup>\u00a0and 15th<\/sup>\u00a0September there was the 4th\u00a0European Conference on Domestic Violence<\/a>\u00a0(ECDV 2021) and the ICOM NATHIST, the international virtuals ymposium dedicated to museology was held between the 12th<\/sup>and 16th<\/sup>. Then, in next week, Cankarjev dom is in the second\u00a0pandemic year<\/a>\u00a0announcing the EFFR 2021, the European Forum for Research in Rehabilitation, and between the 30th<\/sup>\u00a0of September and 1st<\/sup>\u00a0of October, the international scientific conference Perspectives on Teacher Education and Development organised by Faculty of Education in Maribor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fall will also see a lot of events. For example, Cankarjev dom<\/strong> will host the 9th<\/sup> Slovenian Conference on Addiction Treatment, the Slovenian Psyhciatric Congress in, the 14th<\/sup> Congress of the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA 2021). ICAR 2021<\/a> , IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, the 17th<\/sup> International Conference on Progress in Robotic Kinematics, the elite medium-sized international conference, one of the most established and respected in robotics, will be held in December 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides conferences and congress, the Cankarjev dom \u2013 CD Cultural and Congress Centre<\/a> Ljubljana will also host fairs and festivals. This weekend, the MineralFest \u2013 minerals and fossils fair will be held, then, at the end of the month the Festival of the Third Age (F3\u017dO)<\/a>, and in November the renowned and beloved Slovenian Book Fair<\/a>, this time in its 37th<\/sup> edition. Additionally, this month, Cankarjev dom will again join the worldwide initiative<\/a> of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) for raising awareness about children\u2019s cancer for the second year in a row. From the 25th<\/sup> to 30th<\/sup> September, Cankarjev dom\u2019s building will, like many important institutions across Europe, shine in gold colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
