The event is organised by the renowned catering company,&nbsp;<strong>Jezer\u0161ek gostinstvo<\/strong>, in partnership with&nbsp;<strong>Ljubljana Tourism<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Krvavec Ski resort<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Ko\u017eelj, the House of Good Wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gourmet on the snow and a ski race for<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The highly anticipated Gourmet Cup Ljubljana will once again bring together top Slovenian chefs, young talents, winemakers, culinary journalists and food lovers from around Slovenia.&nbsp;The day will start with a delicious gourmet breakfast, where guests will be able to enjoy a Ljubljana breakfast made up of locally sourced dishes.&nbsp;The breakfast will be followed by a raffle and the awarding of starting numbers.&nbsp;The most enthusiastic skiers will then put on their ski boots&nbsp;and compete&nbsp;in no less than six categories.&nbsp;<strong>Former ski ace Jure Ko\u0161ir<\/strong>&nbsp;will be the first to take to the slopes to open the Gourmet Cup ski race.&nbsp;A number of great prizes await the winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Young talents under the watchful eye of chefs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Young culinary talents from&nbsp;<strong>seven Slovenian catering schools<\/strong>&nbsp;under the watchful eye of&nbsp;<strong>top chefs<\/strong>&nbsp;will take care&nbsp;for a real gourmet treat on the ski slopes of Krvavec:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bled Vocational College and chef Simon Bertoncelj (Julijana),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ljubljana Gastronomy and Tourism Secondary School (Srednja \u0161ola za gastronomijo in turizem Ljubljana) and&nbsp;chef Igor Jagodic (Strelec),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BIC Ljubljana and&nbsp;chef Jakob Pintar (TaBar),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Celje&nbsp;Catering and Tourism Secondary School (Srednja \u0161ola za gostinstvo in turizem Celje) and&nbsp;chef Marko Magajne (Galerija okusov),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VSGT Maribor and&nbsp;chef Sebastjan Plev\u010dak (Restavracija in kavarna Sedem)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radovljica Catering and Tourism Secondary School (Srednja gostinska in turisti\u010dna \u0161ola Radovljica) and&nbsp;chef Davor Dru\u017einec (Hotel Astoria) &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slovenske Konjice &#8211; Zre\u010de Educational Centre (\u0160olski center Slovenske Konjice &#8211; Zre\u010de) with the finalist of Masterchef Slovenia, \u017diga&nbsp;Gabrovec&nbsp;(\u017digola).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An unforgettable apr\u00e8s ski party and a cable car dinner<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first day of the Gourmet Cup Ljubljana will end with an unforgettable apr\u00e8s ski party in the beautiful new cottage&nbsp;at Krvavec resort.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, 14 March,guests will have a chance to enjoy\u00a0<strong>another unique gourmet experience<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<strong>a culinary cable car<\/strong>\u00a0ride featuring the dishes created by\u00a0Jezer\u0161ek Catering, Toma\u017e Bolka from Gostilna Kri\u0161tof and guest chef Mojmir \u0160iftar from PEN KLUB restaurant in Ljubljana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See more at:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jezersek.si\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> https:\/\/www.jezersek.si\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, 13 March, Ljubljana Gourmet Cup, a traditional annual gathering of top Slovenian chefs, young talents, winemakers, culinary journalists and food lovers will meet at Krvavec ski resort.
