Conventa\u00a0is dedicated to promoting sustainability and innovation in the meetings industry. This year, the organisers rolled out Planet Positive Event, a project poised to revolutionise how events measure their\u00a0carbon footprint and perceive sustainability.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conventa is a leading regional trade show for New Europe, connecting 100+ exhibitors from 16 countries and 160+ hosted buyers from all around the Europe and beyond. Next Conventa will be held from 18 -20 February 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, attendees have the unique opportunity to engage in one-on-one meetings where they can discuss business\u00a0matters in depth. These sessions allow participants to delve into professional topics while getting to know each other\u00a0personally.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Conventa\u2019s standout\u00a0sustainability initiatives is its use of locally sourced Slovenian wood for all event stands, a tradition upheld year after year.\u00a0By utilising ecological materials from the region, Conventa minimises its carbon footprint and supports local communities,\u00a0encapsulating the spirit of sustainable practices.\u00a0The organisers also encourage sustainability by inviting guests to bring their bottles back, which are then\u00a0recycled. Additionally, the event features a gastronomic offering with a predominantly vegetarian diet, showcasing localand sustainable cuisine, adding to the overall enjoyment of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A revolution for sustainable events with Planet Positive Event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planet Positive Event is an all-in-one sustainability rating and certification tool that was developed <\/p>\n\n\n\n

by event organisers for event organisers. The entire methodology was tested at Conventa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
