The event, titled\u00a0\u201cTwenty years of co-creating the future of events in Slovenia\u201d,\u00a0convened key stakeholders that helped establish, develop and evolve the Slovenian Convention Bureau in its two decades of operation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The historic milestone proved an opportunity to review current plans and reflect on the vision that will guide the future of the Slovenian meetings industry. The event included a varied professional program that highlighted key trends in the digital world, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the event, the Slovenian Convention Bureau received a special award from the Slovenian Tourist Board for 20 years of successful operation and contribution to developing the Slovenian meetings industry. In addition, elections were held for members of the\u00a0<strong>Expert Council of the Slovenian Convention Bureau<\/strong>. The elected members include\u00a0<strong>Jure Jezer\u0161ek<\/strong>\u00a0from Jezer\u0161ek Catering,\u00a0<strong>Katja Koro\u0161ec<\/strong>\u00a0from Gospodarsko razstavi\u0161\u010de,\u00a0<strong>Toma\u017e Kru\u0161i\u010d<\/strong>\u00a0from Intours DMC,\u00a0<strong>Milan Sajovic<\/strong>\u00a0from HIT Alpinea,\u00a0<strong>Petra Stu\u0161ek<\/strong>\u00a0from Ljubljana Tourism and<strong>\u00a0Matja\u017e \u017dnidar\u0161i\u010d<\/strong>\u00a0from Sava Tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fredi Fontanot,<\/strong>\u00a0the Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau, stressed:<em>\u201cOur vision is to continue to build on our successes and position Slovenia as one of the leading destinations for international events.
