The initiative aims to enhance cultural tourism and foster greater synergy within the community.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ita-slo.eu\/en\/tartini-bis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Tartini Bis project&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong>will digitally preserve&nbsp;<strong>Tartini&#8217;s<\/strong>&nbsp;and his pupils&#8217; heritage from across Europe, enriching&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/discovertartini.eu\/\">the discovertartini.eu website<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;with musical, scientific and historical records. This endeavour is expected to foster a cross-border youth orchestra, expand the Tartini&amp;friends cultural-tourist trail and host musical events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Already in the 18th century Tartini, born in&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slovenia.info\/en\/places-to-go\/regions\/mediterranean-karst-slovenia\/portoroz-piran\">Piran<\/a><\/strong>, established the School of Nations for European violinists&nbsp; and thus embodied a spirit of European unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of&nbsp;<strong>the Interreg Italy-Slovenia programme<\/strong>&nbsp;and building upon the tARTini project,&nbsp;<strong>Tartini Bis<\/strong>&nbsp;is led by&nbsp;<strong>the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory of Music<\/strong>&nbsp;in Trieste, with partners including&nbsp;<strong>the Municipality of Piran<\/strong>,<strong>the Italian Union<\/strong>&nbsp;and others. At the project launch, professors and students from the Trieste Conservatory performed Tartini&#8217;s compositions. Celebrating Tartini&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>332nd birthday<\/strong>, events included a workshop in Venice, a presentation of Tartini&#8217;s Musical Treatise and a concert at the Tartini Theatre in Piran featuring the Venice Baroque Orchestra and violinist Michael Oman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Celebrating the 332nd anniversary of composer Giuseppe Tartini&#8217;s birth, the Tartini Bis project was launched at his birthplace in Piran.
