At the end of May 2024, the 2nd Congress Ambassadors Meeting took place under the auspices of the Slovenian Convention Bureau and the Destination Club Ljubljana.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening part of the meeting was hosted at the Rog Centre<\/a><\/strong>, where we presented the project’s plans for this year. In its presentation, Ljubljana Tourism \/ Convention Bureau emphasised the importance of the meetings industry in Slovenia’s capital city<\/strong> and presented statistics on the events held<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The representative of\u00a0Tolerance Marketing, Natalija \u010cad<\/strong>, presented the\u00a0importance of sustainability in the organisation of events<\/strong>. The meeting with the ambassadors was also dedicated to\u00a0presenting fresh locations for events<\/strong>, so in addition to the Rog Centre, we also visited\u00a0Cukrarna<\/a><\/strong>, where we were presented with possibilities for events of different sizes. We concluded the meeting with a tour of the\u00a0renovated\u00a0Casemate Hall<\/a>\u00a0at the Ljubljana Castle<\/strong>, which can host receptions for up to 150 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next meetings planned for this year will take place in\u00a0Portoro\u017e<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Maribor<\/strong>, which also offer some new venues for the meetings industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Slovenian Ambassador Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Slovenian Ambassador Programme<\/strong> was launched in 2019 with the support of the Slovenian Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Ljubljana Convention Bureau at Tourism Ljubljana.
