Slovenia is the only country with <strong>LOVE<\/strong> in its name which <strong>connects diversities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slovenia\u2019s natural beauty is astonishing, and it would be more accurate to speak of the <strong>country\u2019s <em>beauties<\/em><\/strong>. A Slovenian legend has it that when God was allotting nature\u2019s bounty, he initially forgot this country. Slovenia is half the size of Switzerland and almost exactly the size of Wales or Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout our history Slovenia has always been at the <strong>crossroads<\/strong> of <strong>Meditteranean<\/strong>, <strong>Germanic<\/strong> and <strong>Slavic cultures <\/strong>and this has left its mark on our country today. We might be one of Europe\u2019s smallest countries but we\u2019ve got <strong>great traditions<\/strong> in food and wine, richly diverse regions and, as people, we\u2019re hard working, progressive, naturally friendly and welcoming.<\/p>\n<p>As a <strong>MICE destination Slovenia has it all<\/strong>, from modern conference venues, culinary hot spots, medieval ruined monasteries to whitewater rafting.
