A delegation of 70 CEOs and presidents of travel agents and travel agents\u2019 associations are discussing industry and EU policy developments impacting on the travel trade in Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The semi-annual meeting in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.slovenia.info\/?lng=2&amp;redirected=1\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>green, active and healthy Slovenia<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is part of an agreement signed between\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ectaa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>ECTAA<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and the Slovenian Tourist Board to help raise awareness and promote Slovenia through the network of\u00a0<strong>travel agents and tour operators across<\/strong>\u00a0Europe, highlighting the\u00a0<strong>diversity of its natural resources and cultural heritage<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the diversity of travel and tourism products on offer, ranging from\u00a0<strong>green and eco-tourism<\/strong>, to\u00a0<strong>health and wellness tourism and active holidays.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Director of the Slovenian Tourist Board, Maja Pak<\/strong>, commented: \u201c<em>We are glad that the renowned European Travel Agents\u2019 and Tour Operators\u2019 Association (ECTAA) has selected our country for such an important event as its General Assembly meeting. We are also excited about the title of Preferred Destination of the Year 2016, which contributes to the positioning of Slovenia as a visible European tourist destination among tourism business professionals.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are very proud to work with such a strong partner as the Slovenian Tourist Board.
