{"id":5500,"date":"2016-08-24T11:47:10","date_gmt":"2016-08-24T11:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/?p=5500"},"modified":"2016-08-24T11:47:10","modified_gmt":"2016-08-24T11:47:10","slug":"slovenian-russian-political-elite-gathered-kranjska-gora","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/sl\/slovenian-russian-political-elite-gathered-kranjska-gora\/","title":{"rendered":"Slovenian and Russian Political Elite Gathered in Kranjska Gora"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year\u2019s centenary of the construction of the Russian Chapel, with the main commemoration being held at the end of July, was attended by the\u00a0<strong>Slovenian political elite<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Prime Minister Miro Cerar, President Borut Pahor, as well as\u00a0<strong>the Russian President Vladimir Putin<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>with his delegation<\/strong>\u00a0and representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate.<\/p>\n<p>The centenary of the Russian Chapel and the highest representatives of both countries made sure the event was attended by a very high number of invited guests organised by the\u00a0<strong>Slovenian-Russian Society<\/strong>, which organises the event every year. After the commemoration,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hit-alpinea.si\/en\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Hit Alpinea<\/strong><\/a>, a hotelier group from\u00a0<strong>Kranjska Gora<\/strong>, successfully\u00a0<strong>carried out a banquet at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hit-alpinea.si\/en\/kompas-hotel\" target=\"_blank\">Hotel Kompas<\/a>\u00a0for over 2,000 commemoration participants<\/strong>, complemented by a rich cultural programme featuring Russian performers.
