{"id":5569,"date":"2016-09-05T07:54:17","date_gmt":"2016-09-05T07:54:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/?p=5569"},"modified":"2016-09-05T07:58:07","modified_gmt":"2016-09-05T07:58:07","slug":"ljubljana-will-host-major-car-show-auto-salon-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/sl\/ljubljana-will-host-major-car-show-auto-salon-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Ljubljana Will Host a Major Car-Show &#8220;Auto Salon 2017&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ljubljanafair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">GR<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre\u00a0has officially confirmed they will\u00a0will host a car show &#8220;AUTO SALON 2017&#8221;, from the 27th\u00a0March to the 2nd\u00a0April 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The car show will occupy the entire area of the fairground and following initial talks with specific car brands the information about the show has been positively received, with some major car importers showing significant interest in participating, although at this stage nothing has yet been publicly confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>The last car show to take place in Ljubljana was more than 17 years ago, with\u00a0<strong>Mirko Fifolt<\/strong>, representative of the Slovenian National Automobile Dealears Association, explaining that organising the event in Ljubljana was the decision of the majority of their members.\u00a0<strong>Organisers are expecting approximately 100,000 visitors to pass through the GR \u2013 Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre doors during the days of the show.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe key purpose of a car show is to attract as many visitors, our potential customers, as possible, to show a wide range of new vehicles, and to send a strong, positive message to the general public that we have passed the most difficult period of economic downturn,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>said Marjan Murn, President of the Slovenian National Automobile Dealears Association.<\/p>\n<p>A recent extremely successful execution of a car show took place this April in Zagreb. Over six days more than 140,000 people visited the salon\u2019s 14 pavilions, where 440 exhibitors from 33 countries were presenting more than 80 brands of cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles.
