Slovenian Convention Bureau celebrates 25 years of Nationhood\u00a0<\/em>with fun and games at ibtm world 2016.<\/em><\/p>\n

25 years ago, Slovenia became the first of the former Yugoslav republics to declare its independence. To celebrate its country\u2019s silver anniversary, the Slovenian Convention Bureau is bringing some legendary Slovenian energy to ibtm world in the shape of an interactive game, I Feel 25<\/a><\/strong>. Designed especially for the trade show, and for its highly competitive, alpha male and alpha female attendees, this digital game will determine the real MICE Mastermind at ibtm world 2016 in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Miha Kova\u010di\u010d, Director at the Slovenian Convention Bureau, said: \u201cSlovenia is Europe\u2019s great adventure playground with outdoor activities like rafting, hiking and biking all available a mere stone\u2019s throw from our key cities. We wanted to bring a sense of fun and games to trade shows and unleash some of the great competitive energy that defines our industry\u201d. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Toma\u017e Kru\u0161i\u010d, Director of Intours DMC added: \u201cWe have 25 specially crafted questions \u2013 one for each year of our nationhood \u2013 and a leaderboard ranking each contestant by score. We\u2019re inviting all ibtm world 2016 attendees to compete – hosted buyers, exhibitors, visitors \u2013 but we\u2019re sending out a challenge, in particular, to the Executive Directors of the meetings industry associations.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Finally, Miha Kova\u010di\u010d explained: \u201cThere are trivia questions about Slovenia mixed in with questions about the meetings industry \u2013 its history, special jargon, associations etc. Thanks to our stand partners we have some amazing prizes too including hotel stays, dinners, activities and, of course, our iconic, much-sought-after I Feel sLOVE<\/strong>nia\u00a0<\/em>t-shirts.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

About ibtm world<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ibtm world is the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events. It takes place annually in Barcelona. In 2016, it runs from Tuesday, 29 November until Thursday 1 December.<\/p>\n
