{"id":6663,"date":"2017-02-17T09:34:08","date_gmt":"2017-02-17T09:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/?p=6663\/"},"modified":"2017-02-17T09:43:41","modified_gmt":"2017-02-17T09:43:41","slug":"one-slovenian-biggest-congress-events-2018-will-held-cd-congress-centre-ljubljana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slovenia-convention.com\/sl\/one-slovenian-biggest-congress-events-2018-will-held-cd-congress-centre-ljubljana\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Great Success for CD Congress Centre Ljubljana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CD Congress Centre Ljubljana announced that they successfully bid and won for organization of the ESSM Congress 2019 and now they can add also another success to their great congress story.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They have officially gained the organization of the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ests.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">European Congress of thoracic surgeon<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(ESTS) 2018 which will be held from 27th\u00a0to 30th\u00a0May 2018 in Ljubljana.<\/p>\n<p>The ESTS is a professional association of\u00a0<strong>thoracic surgeons in Europe<\/strong>, founded in 1993 with mission to improve quality in clinical and surgical management of patients, education, training and credentialing of thoracic surgeons in Europe and worldwide. This year, the 25th\u00a0European Conference on General Thoracic Surgery will be held in Innsbruck, Austria from 28th\u00a0to \u00a031st\u00a0May 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CD Congress Centre Ljubljana<\/strong>\u00a0which is a part of Cankarjev dom, cultural and congress centre, filed candidacy for 2018 and 2019 congress and won for organization of the 2018 congress, among the competitor congress destination such as Hungary and Krakow (Poland). This is without a doubt a great achievement for Slovenian congress industry which is becoming more and more attractive for organization of congresses and different kind of events and CD Congress Centre Ljubljana confirms their role as a central Slovene congress centre with the\u00a0<strong>highest number of international congresses<\/strong>.
