At the end of March, the Slovenia Restaurant Awards have been handed out to the best Slovenian restaurants of 2018. The ceremony at Fu\u017eine castle in Ljubljana revealed not only top five regional restaurants and three overall winners, but also the restaurant with the largest number of public votes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, the Slovenia Restaurant Awards<\/a> expert commission made a list of 165 restaurants, which were then assessed by more than a thousand members of the Chefs & Foodies Academy and voted for at www.the-slovenia.com<\/a>. Altogether more than 7,000 votes were collected. At the end of March, the Slovenia Restaurant Awards have been handed out to the best Slovenian restaurants of 2018 at the ceremony at Fu\u017eine castle in Ljubljana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nLjubljana and Central Slovenia<\/strong>: Gostilna As<\/a>, Gostilna \u010cubr<\/a>, Gostilna Mihovec, Gostilna na Gradu<\/a>, Gostilna Skaru\u010dna<\/a>, Gosti\u0161\u010de Gri\u010d<\/a>, JB Restaurant<\/a>, Cubo Restaurant<\/a>, Strelec Restaurant<\/a>\u00a0and Sushimama<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Northern Slovenia<\/strong>: An\u010dka, Danilo – gostilna&wine bar, Dvor Jezer\u0161ek<\/a>, Gostilna Kri\u0161tof, Gosti\u0161\u010de Milka, Hi\u0161a Raduha<\/a>, Pr Mati\u010dku<\/a>, 1906 Restaurant Bled<\/a>, Skipass Restaurant<\/a>, Vila Podvin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Southern Slovenia:\u00a0<\/strong>Doma\u010dija Novak, Gostilna Rakar<\/a>, Gostilna Repov\u017e, Gostilna \u0160ekoranja, Gostilna Vovko, O\u0161terija Debeluh<\/a>, Pod skednjem \u2013 Pule Estate, Oto\u010dec Castle Restaurant<\/a>, O\u0161tarija<\/a>, Tri lu\u010dke Restaurant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eastern Slovenia<\/strong>: Galerija Okusov<\/a>, Gostilna Francl, Gostilna Rajh<\/a>, Gostilna \u0160iker<\/a>, Denk House<\/a>, Pavus Grad Tabor<\/a>, Restavracija Mak<\/a>, Sedem Restaurant<\/a>, Ro\u017emarin<\/a>, Vila Herberstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Western Slovenija<\/strong>: Doma\u010dija Majerija<\/a>, Gostilna Mahor\u010di\u010d, Gostilna pri Lojzetu<\/a>, Hi\u0161a Franko<\/a>, Hi\u0161a Torkla<\/a>, Nejka and Uro\u0161 Klinec, O\u0161terija Klinec<\/a>, Dam Restaurant, Kendov dvorec Restaurant<\/a>, Pikol Restaurant.<\/p>\n

Winners<\/strong>: the regional winners 2018 are Strelec Restaurant in Ljubljana and Central Slovenia, Gostilna Kri\u0161tof – Northern Slovenia, O\u0161terija Debeluh – Southern Slovenia, Hi\u0161a Denk – Eastern Slovenia and Hi\u0161a Franko – Western Slovenia. The other regional finalists earned the title of the best regional restaurants.<\/p>\n

Three overall winners of the national selection for the best Slovenian restaurants 2018 in alphabetical order are the Hi\u0161a Franko, O\u0161terija Debeluh and Pri Lojzetu.<\/p>\n

The restaurant with the largest number of online votes was Galerija okusov.<\/p>\n
