This year the SIW took place in Kranjska Gora, famous mountain resort in the heart of Julian Alps.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Representatives of Slovenian tourism companies and organisations, hotels, tourist agencies, wellnesses, public sector in tourism, congress centres and other stakeholders in tourism, at SIW met with foreign attendees. This year\u2019s SIW had <strong>a record participation<\/strong> of Slovenian attendees, as well as of the foreign ones who are interested in the Slovenian offer and in the upgrading of their tourist programmes to Slovenia with novelties.<\/p>\n<p>The main part of the event was <strong>tradeshow day<\/strong> where the Slovenian representatives had business meetings with foreign participants. There were <strong>more than 3.500 business meetings scheduled<\/strong> what made for a record number at the SIW. The tours took foreign participants to the icons of Slovenian tourism along with major natural and cultural sights, and destinations for relaxation and active holidays.
