It has become a traditional meeting for scientists from around the world working in x-ray spectrometry or using one of its several techniques. It represents an exciting discussion forum for basic research and applications of x-ray spectrometry in a rich variety of fields like materials science, chemistry, radiation physics, medicine, biology, environment, cultural heritage, technology and industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row td-pb-row\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container td-pb-span12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>This year, the EXRS 2018 is organised by Slovenia\u2019s biggest research institute \u2013 <strong>The Jo\u017eef Stefan Institute<\/strong> \u2013 and held in the halls of <strong>GR \u2013 Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre<\/strong>. A six day conference presents for approximately 300 international delegates an opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in theoretic, experimental and applied XRS, to discuss with people from all over the world, to share their own work and to learn from others.
