WHY GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre?

The participants and the organizer were very satisfied with the halls of the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (GR). »I have only heard positive feedback,« said Jeroen Janssens from ERC for Kongres Magazine. »But it’s not just the hardware of the building. The real quality is within the entire GR team that is very committed and professional. I have nothing but respect for their work and who they are as persons!«

“The real quality is within the entire GR team”

The organizational team also liked the city. Congress Manager at the ERC emphasized the boutique character of Slovenia’s capital: »Ljubljana is a nice size for a city. It’s cozy, it has nice bars and restaurants. The atmosphere reflects what we want to be: not the biggest, but the warmest and friendliest.« Jeroen Janssens, congress manager of the CPR Congress of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC)2019

»High level of professionalism«

»The GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, was the only bidder who had big enough conference hall and other facilities, to organize the event this size at the proposed date. We have had really good experiences in the past with the collaboration with the GR and we are looking forward for a possible future cooperating with them, since they have shown high level of professionalism and preparedness to help.« Urška Šturman from the Public Relations Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Slovenia about Health Equity Conference

»The venue has been a complete success«

»The venue has been a complete success: easy access and close proximity to the city centre, friendly architecture and daylight in most of the interiors with hardly any stairs. AV and IT services were flawless and the catering has been delicious. We have had nothing but extremely positive feedback from all the participants saying that this has been one of the best ESPID meetings in the recent years. My sincere thanks goes to the extremely dedicated and professional team at the GR, as well as to the Ljubljana Convention Bureau for all the continuous support in the preparation of this large and successful event.« Assist Professor Marko Pokorn, MD, PhD, Department of Infectious Diseases, University Medical Centre Ljubljana on the 37th Annual Meeting of the ESPID
