Next to Scandinavia, Canada, Bhutan, the Netherlands, Costa Rica and others are also Julian Alps in Slovenia, where journalist Juliet Kinsman highlights “new trails and signposts for hikers and skiers that allow for better long-term positive effects on nature, culture and community”.
