Prof. Blaž Koritnik, MD-PhD is a specialised neurologist and the representative of the Neurophysiology Department at the Division of Neurology of the University Medical Centre Ljubljana. As a member of SiNAPSA, The Slovenian Neuroscience Association, he has been actively spreading awareness and knowledge regarding the importance of brain health and diseases to the public. He has been nominated for the Slovenian Congress Ambassador for organising over 25 national and international meetings in the last 15 years, including the ENCALS meeting, European Network to Cure ALS. Both Prof. Kavčič and Prof. Koritnik share the same opinion that organising international congresses in your own country brings recognition and acknowledgement of their work and the fields they represent. They are proud to be able to host experts from around the world in Ljubljana. The title of the Slovenian Congress Ambassador encourages them to attract international events to Slovenia in the future.
