Slovenian Convention Bureau Joins Regional Stakeholders in the Julian Alps

Representatives of the Slovenian Convention Bureau attended a business meeting and networking event for stakeholders in the meetings industry (MICE) in the Julian Alps. The event, organized by the Bled Convention Bureau, took place in the inspiring setting of the Inclined Wind Tunnel in Žirovnica.

The main purpose of the meeting was to review current activities and present the future marketing directions of the Julian Alps community in the field of MICE tourism. Participants learned more about the latest developments and the diverse offerings that Žirovnica, as an increasingly prominent destination, provides to organizers of business events and meetings.

The official program and tour of the unique wind tunnel were followed by a relaxed gathering dedicated to networking and building closer ties among key regional stakeholders. In a creative atmosphere, we took the opportunity to exchange best practices and valuable field experience, while discussions also opened up numerous possibilities for joint projects and further collaboration in developing sustainable MICE tourism.

We believe that such regional gatherings are essential for strengthening partner relationships, as well as driving the continuous development and quality enhancement of Slovenia’s offer for business event organizers.

We would like to thank the organizers (Bled Convention Bureau) and the Julian Alps Community for the invitation, excellent organization, and an inspiring morning in Žirovnica.
