Slovenian Convention Bureau is the central contact point for meeting planners looking for impartial information and advice on all aspects of organizing events in Slovenia. It unites over 70 providers of meetings services located throughout the country. All members of the Bureau are standardised in order to provide you professional service.

Professional associations, societies and businesses who want to organize events can turn to Slovenian Convention Bureau for information and help in finding the optimal location for the event, advise on how they can connect with the most appropriate partners and help in forwarding their inquiry to SCB members.

For international events the Bureau can provide all the necessary information about Slovenia, maps, brochures and photos and contribute to finding the most appropriate solutions. To help meeting planners with their decision, Slovenian Convention Bureau in collaboration with its members, can also organize a study tour to various venues and meetings destinations.

Slovenian Convention Bureau is a private non-profit society. It holds a status to work in the public interest obtained by the Ministry of Economy. Slovenian Convention Bureau is uniting the meetings industry of Slovenia and promoting it to the international meetings market.

We are open society and are welcoming new providers of meeting services wanting to connect with the international environment. Each member has to undergo standardisation process. All members of the Bureau are standardised according to the type of services they are providing. These range from congress centres, convention hotels, hotels with conference facilities, special venues, PCO’s, DMC’s, event agencies, CVB’s and other meeting services. Standardisation provides clarity on the meetings market and enables meeting planners to have better overview of the market and higher quality of services.
