SIW, the most important business event hosted by Slovenian Tourist Board, is organised on annual basis and it provides for the best opportunity to engage in advantageous business collaboration with Slovenia. This year the SIW took place in Kranjska Gora, famous mountain resort in the heart of Julian Alps.
Representatives of Slovenian tourism companies and organisations, hotels, tourist agencies, wellnesses, public sector in tourism, congress centres and other stakeholders in tourism, at SIW met with foreign attendees. This year’s SIW had a record participation of Slovenian attendees, as well as of the foreign ones who are interested in the Slovenian offer and in the upgrading of their tourist programmes to Slovenia with novelties.
The main part of the event was tradeshow day where the Slovenian representatives had business meetings with foreign participants. There were more than 3.500 business meetings scheduled what made for a record number at the SIW. This fact points towards a huge popularity of the SIW, which has become known as an exceptional and unique opportunity for marketing Slovenian tourist offer, strengthening of partnerships and promotion of new connections.
