Slovenia offers unlimited possibilities for the MICE business. Planners can organize their events and meetings in different areas, in the Mediterranean region, at the Karst, in the Alpes, in the cities or in spa and wellness regions. Its diverse and beautiful landscape makes it also perfect suitable for every kind of incentives, in summer and in winter.

Miha Kovacic, Director of Slovenian Convention Bureau, about incentives in Slovenia:
“Featuring three geographic, three climate but also three wine regions gives you endless opportunities. Adding 24 gastronomic regions makes it even more interesting topped by Slovenian hospitality that will make your incentives memorable.”

In winter, there are many options such as snowshoeing, sledding and ice-climbing. Several members of the Slovenian Convention Bureau can help you in finding the right region and in creating the best programme for your group. Contact persons are the DMCs Intours DMC, Kompas DMC, iDMC and Palma Tour Operator and DMC.

There is a lot you can do!

Embark on a snow adventure to the Triglav National Park, Pokljuka and enjoy the beautiful, snowy landscape. Equipped with snowshoes, hiking poles, tools for prevention against snow avalanches and a snow shovel you set out on a trip through the mountains to “Search the Pokluka Bear”. On your tour you build an igloo, rescue victims of an avalanche and orient yourselves with modern GPS devices.

Sledding on the forest paths and roads in the vicinity of Kranjska Gora is another idea. During daytime you can enjoy the views of the mountains, in the nighttime the paths will be enlightend through torches or floodlights – an unforgettable experience. You also can experience an Eskimo Adventure with snowshoeing: A guide takes you across the slopes to the igloo village where you will be served an Eskimo drink and a snack. Or decide for winter rafting on the Sava River where you even jump into ice cold water, break the barriers and challenge new limits! Other offers: dog sledding in the Logarska Dolina Valley, crazy winter olympics where you have to solve tasks requiring perfect teamwork and much more.

Moreover, there are many activities that can be done during the whole year such as underground adventures in Postojna caves, horseback riding, interactive tours through Ljubljana or culinary activities: Feel for example the history at the Roman Dinner where the Roman General Marcus Antonius Primus greets you, you are dressed in togas and you can enjoy the feasting.
