At this year’s first virtual day, held on 15 February by the International Association of Professional Congress Organizers IAPCO instead of the classic assembly, the candidacy and selection of Slovenia as the location for the annual meeting and the IAPCO General Assembly in 2024 was confirmed in front of more than 250 participants. At that time, Cankarjev dom, which prepared and carried out the candidacy, will host the cream of the global congress industry.

The main goal of the IAPCO association is to strengthen the standards of services among its members and other sectors of the congress industry through continuous education and interaction with other experts. In 2022, the IAPCO Annual Meeting and General Assembly will be held in Rome, and in 2023 in Jerusalem.
