The hotel, originally designed in 1952, by the Slovenian architect Edo Mihevc, was completely renovated in 2021 with the help of AKSL architects and designer David Tavčar. The furniture and small inventory reflect the images of sea creatures - crabs, lobsters, octopus and starfish, as well as the motif of a goat, after which the city of Koper got its name already in the time of the Romans (Capris).
