With its tightly knit cross-border cooperation, the contemporary Goriška region is developing a new, emerging space of cohabitation in Europe. The two Goricas jointly received the title of the European Capital of Culture 2025. Nova Gorica is also a city of entertainment and nightlife. Two amusement parks, casinos and many gaming salons with attractive shows and the latest slot machines give the city a special vibe.
