On 22 November 2023, the Slovenian Convention Bureau hosted a MICE workshop in Munich. We presented Slovenia alongside our spirited partners, various providers of MICE services, to a select group of German buyers, fostering collaboration and business connections.
The event brought together more than 10 MICE stakeholders from Slovenia who showcased their unique offerings to a select group of German MICE buyers. Attendees were able to explore collaborative opportunities and discuss the latest trends in the MICE industry.
The workshop facilitated interactive presentations, providing a platform for meaningful discussions on the latest industry trends, such as creating a better and more sustainable business. We believe participants left the event inspired and full of new ideas. Two keynote speakers opened an interesting topic. Mr. Andreas Reiter from ZTB Zukunftsbüro talked about the importance of creating a better, more responsible, and sustainable MICE world, and Ms. Irena Fonda, from Fonda Fishfarm, supported the topic by presenting her sustainable approach to growing the best fish in the world.
The event served as a strategic initiative to strengthen partnership and cooperation between Slovenia and the German market. By facilitating direct interactions between Slovenian suppliers and German buyers, the event aimed to enhance cooperation and promote Slovenia as a premier destination for international events.
We believe the participants left the workshop inspired and full of new ideas.
