From 1 to 2 June, Grand Hotel Bernardin was the hosting arena of Summit 100 – the largest SEE gathering of business leaders. At the event, organized by the Association Manager Slovenia, specific note was exposed to the impact of traffic (transportation) for regional competitiveness and the role of smart cities for economic development of the region. The event was also supported by the country’s President Borut Pahor, additional value was given with the participation of 5 Presidents of the Member States and Minister of Economy of Serbia. Summit 100 was concluded by Dr. Miro Cerar with the thought that regional competitiveness and countries success goes hand in hand.
From the perspective of the host and operational performance, we proved again our professionalism, flexibility and responsiveness. The event was challenging from the perspective of the organization and implementation mainly due to the:
– simultaneous involvement of multiple organizational sections: Association Manager, Diplomatic Protocol RS, Bureau for protection and security of entities
– strict security system protocol (security control point was installed at the 12th floor – right before the entrance to the main hall) for organizers, delegates, operational staff (the GH Bernardin was under protection of 70 policeman’s / 40 cars, 7 motorcycle),
– on spot amendments and additional services.
Being selected and involved in this important economic and political event was for all a big challenge and confirmation of the reference” trusted partner “. And more, after the event our inboxes were full of congratulations from the organizers and even other involved teams, which gave an important message: Summit 100 set new boundaries for quality and performance.
