Ljubljana as the stage of European excellence
On 9 September 2025, Ljubljana hosted the announcement of the winners at the Conventa Crossover Festival, once again confirming that the Slovenian capital ranks among Europe’s leading destinations for top-level professional events. The Grand Prix went to Future Unfold (Magna Events, Greece), while among the Slovenian entries, the award for the best event was given to Launch of the all-electric Macan (Paideia Events).
Diversity of awarded projects
Awards were presented across a wide range of categories – from Best B2B Event, Best B2C Event and Best Event Agency to special recognitions for creativity, social responsibility, sustainability and the use of technology. Among Slovenian projects, Maribor stood out with Ballet Under the Stars, which won the award in the Best in Community Building category.
The power of collaboration and partnerships
The Conventa Crossover Festival was organised by Toleranca Marketing and Conventa Trade Show, in partnership with Ljubljana Tourism, the Slovenian Tourist Board and the Slovenian Convention Bureau. A 24-member international jury led by Angeles Moreno evaluated projects based on innovation, execution, impact and sustainability.
